The house is located 10 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Carboneras (15 minutes from the beach!).
The place is perfect for those who are looking for authenticity, privacy, calm and a breathtaking view of the Andalusian desert mountains: sierra Alhamilla. The large porches are a perfect space to read, contemplate, eat, draw…..
Every evening you can enjoy the wonderful sunset over the mountains.
The location
The house is 1500m from the village and its beaches. It offers an incredible view of the Sierra Alhamilla and an air of tranquillity and countryside.
Other highlights
The village has direct access to the beaches of El Lançon, Los Barquicos and El Dorado via the promenade. All three beaches are supervised in summer and are very well equipped with showers and disabled access, petanque courts, small fitness areas and children’s playgrounds.
At the mouth of the river Alias (dry), in the direction of Mojácar, there are several unspoilt beaches, including the 3 km long Algarrobico, which was used as the setting for the film “Lawrence of Arabia” (1962).
Other beaches in the municipality can be reached by car and then on foot after a walk of about 1 km, in the heart of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park:
Playa de los Muertos and Playa El Corral. Here you can practice naturism.
In the direction of Almería, a very beautiful beach, more touristy in summer, is Aguamarga, followed by those along the coast and the natural park towards Níjar.
